Flag Status Update October 19, 2023 – Panama City Beach Flags Are Still Yellow

Beach and Surf Patrol have sent a beach flag status update today, October 19, 2023. Panama City beach flags are now Yellow. The flags changed to yellow 10.15.23. The text was sent this morning that the flag is yellow…..additionally, you can see the yellow flag in the SandPiper Beacon beach cam.

Always remember that you have to check the actual flag at the beach before entering the water!  Remember to always swim with caution and, an absence of flags DOES NOT mean the water is safe.

Depending on what end of the beach they start on, it can sometimes be a few hours before the flags are changed on this end of the beach.
