The largest park in Panama City Beach is Frank Brown Park, located on Panama City Beach Parkway between State Road 79 and Pier Park with baseball and softball fields, batting cages, soccer fields, outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, tennis wall, a T-Ball field, a Miracle League field, several shaded playgrounds, shuffle board courts, concession stands, picnic areas, pavilions, a freshwater youth fishing pond, three dog park enclosures, green spaces, a 20-acre festival site, and Gayle's Trails.

Frank Brown Park Annual Events

Frank Brown Park hosts many sports events, outdoor festivals, and other annual outdoor events in PCB including:

Gayle's Trails

An entrance to Gayle's Trails is located at the north end of Frank Brown Park. Gayle's Trails is part of a growing greenways and trails system that will eventually span the entirety of Panama City Beach. Gayle's Trails connects Frank Brown Park to the 3,000-acre Panama City Beach Conservation Park, where you'll find long boardwalks crossing cypress swamps, off-road trails perfect for mountain biking, hiking, or walking your dog.

Shaded Playgrounds & Picnic Area

Frank Brown Park has multiple playgrounds with shade, swings, climbing structures, foam building blocks, games, and activities. It's the perfect way to occupy the kids for a few hours, and it's free!

Dog Parks

Frank Brown Dog Park has 3 fenced in dog parks. One is for high energy, larger dogs and a second enclosure is for older and slower big and small dogs. There is a third enclosure located next to the fishing pond.

Our furry friends also enjoy the more than two miles of dog-friendly greenways and trails, which serve as the trailhead for Gayle’s Trails, with an entrance at Frank Brown Park. Waste stations are available at each of the enclosures, so be considerate of others and pick up after your dogs.

Youth Fishing Pond

The Youth Fishing Pond at Frank Brown Park encourages fishing as a sport for our young residents. Located at the northwest corner of Frank Brown Park behind the Dog Park, Adults can fish as long as they are accompanied by a child 16 years or younger in order to fish. Adults must have a Florida Freshwater Fishing License to fish.

There is a walking trail around the pond, a small wooden fishing platform, and ducks that love to say hello.
