Beach and Surf Patrol have sent a beach flag status update today, July 6, 2024. Panama City beach flags are still Double Red! Double Red means the water is closed. Stay out of the water! The were changed to double red starting July 5th in the late afternoon (the text came at 5:08pm)

Important Things to Remember!
- Always check the actual flag at the beach before entering the water!
- Always swim with caution!
- An absence of flags DOES NOT mean the water is safe!
- Depending on what end of the beach they start on, it can sometimes be a few hours before the flags are changed on this end of the beach, so if you aren’t sure, check multiple beach flag sources! (See below)
