Yum! Shades (“at the loop”) is actually so far “west end” that it’s actually more like east end Rosemary Beach! You have to cross the bridge over lake Powell. But a mere mile or so later you’ll see Shades where you turn to take scenic 30A past the likes of Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, and on through The Truman Show‘s Seaside.
Liz is OBSESSED with their “Fish Bites” appetizer, and I can’t say I blame her. They are a very tasty treat. Their wings also make for a good appetizer or a nice “side” dish for the table to share with their entrees. They have a nice selection of beer on draft and some tasty desserts if you have the room. Throw in a ton of flat screens broadcasting your favorite sports and the free wi-fi so you can post your food pics to Facebook and make all your friends back home super jealous and you have a really fun dinner out!
