The sand is at least clear of the goopy pea soup algae at water’s edge, but the water is a mix of algae and the red/brown plant-like seaweed ( I don’t know what it’s called yet ). The flag is perpetually yellow. It’s so hot!! I’m happy to report that the beach no longer smells of rotting algae…..that’s something!
We may skip the beach and head to Pier Park for some school shopping. Happy Saturday!
