Double RED Flags in Effect
A flag status update has been sent by Beach and Surf Patrol: Flags are now DOUBLE RED today, February 6, 2020. We’ll update our status the next time Beach and Surf Patrol report a change in flag color. Always remember to verify the actual flag at the beach before entering the water!
It can sometimes be a few hours before the flags are changed on this end of the beach, depending on which end of the beach they start updating the flags.
DOUBLE RED is extremely dangerous and should be strictly observed. This is no joke! Please stay out of the water during DOUBLE RED condition!!!
Always swim with caution and remember, an absence of flags doesn’t mean the water is safe.
